A difficult incident occurred today (July 1, 2026) in Beit She'an, when a baby about a year old drowned in a pool at her home. The toddler's condition is defined as critical.

According to a report in ynet news, the rescue forces called to the scene provided her with initial medical treatment and performed resuscitation efforts in an attempt to save her life. According to ynet, the toddler was evacuated to HaEmek Hospital in Afula for further urgent medical treatment.
