A high-ranking Iranian delegation, led by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, returned to Tehran after a lightning visit to Muscat. Omani Foreign Minister Al-Busaidi noted, according to a report by خبری پلاس, that the talks involved "constructive discussions" on a memorandum of understanding, with a guarantee that no "transit fees" would be imposed on vessels. The Sultan of Oman expressed support for these talks as part of a comprehensive effort to reach a peaceful solution with the US on all open files.
