According to a report by 'خبرفوری', Baghaei emphasized that "the war and military actions on all fronts, including Lebanon, must end." It was further noted that the parties held discussions regarding the lifting of restrictions on Iranian oil exports and the release of frozen assets, issues on which "good progress" was reported.

On the regional level, according to 'SNN.ir', a new mechanism has been established with the participation of international mediators aimed at monitoring the ceasefire in Lebanon. Baghaei noted that the move stems from an Iranian concern regarding "continuous violations of the ceasefire by the Zionist regime."
