Reports of IDF artillery strikes in southern Lebanon

During the morning of June 20, 2026, intense IDF military activity was reported in the northern sector. According to the Telegram channel خبرفوری‌نیوز | اخبار جنگ | حمله امریکا, Israeli Army artillery forces carried out shelling in the Houmine area, north of Nabatieh, Lebanon.

At the same time, the channel اخبار فوری ایران و آمریکا™ | جنگ | NEWS reported that "Israeli artillery shelled heavily, illuminating the sky over southern Lebanon", claiming the strikes are taking place "at the height of the ceasefire."

Both channels, which are identified with a critical line toward Israeli activity in the region, emphasize the continuation of fighting on the ground despite diplomatic agreements that may be in effect. As of now, no official response has been issued by the IDF Spokesperson regarding these events.
