According to this channel, which is known for its line aligned with pro-Iranian political positions, the Iranian delegation decided not to depart for Switzerland in protest of "Israel's continued violation of the ceasefire in Lebanon." These sources even went further, calling on President Trump to "add signatures" to the documents in light of the destabilization of the planned agreement.
In reports brought by Fars News, an Iranian news agency identified with the Revolutionary Guards, it was emphasized that despite the cancellation of the trip, the White House insists that the talks will continue in the near future. At the same time, it was reported by those same sources that Donald Trump posted a picture of the memorandum of understanding on his social network (Truth Social), apparently in an attempt to project stability and commitment to the process despite the disruptions.
The situation remains fluid as the West presents the delay as a technical-logistical problem, while channels identified with the Axis of Resistance use the event to emphasize the direct connection between the negotiations with the West and the security situation on the northern border.
