Extreme Weather Warning in 13 Iranian Provinces

The Iranian Meteorological Organization has issued an alert for extreme weather conditions expected to strike 13 provinces in the northern part of the country. According to a report by آخرین خبر, identified as a major Iranian media outlet providing official reports, today (Wednesday) is expected to bring "רגبار بارאן و רעד ו ברק" (downpours and thunderstorms) accompanied by strong winds.

The affected areas include the provinces of East and West Azerbaijan, Ardabil, Gilan, Mazandaran, Golestan, North Khorasan, northern Razavi Khorasan, as well as mountainous regions in the provinces of Zanjan, Qazvin, Alborz, Tehran, and Semnan. According to the report, there may also be dust and sand in prone areas.

The report notes that the unstable weather conditions are expected to expand to most parts of the country on Thursday. Furthermore, over the next three days, strong winds accompanied by dust storms are expected in vast areas of the west, center, and northeast of the country.
