Uncertainty regarding final exam dates in Iran
The Iranian education system is facing a wave of conflicting reports regarding the final exam dates for 11th and 12th grades. The Minister of Education stated that the exams will likely take place within the date range of July 13 to July 21, but emphasized that the final date will be published only after approval by the authorized authorities.
The reports, published in a variety of Telegram channels including خبر فوری جنگ ایران and آخرین خبر, have caused great confusion. The یِ دانش آموز channel even had to publish a clarification, according to which earlier reports claiming that specific dates had been set were "fake" (false news), and that the current date range represents only an initial estimate.
At the same time, کانال اخبار سپاه پاسداران 🏴 (considered a channel close to the Revolutionary Guards) noted that the previously proposed date, July 21, encountered public criticism due to a possible overlap with the Arbaeen procession events. On the other hand, خراسان آنلاین quoted the head of the Education Assessment Center, Fouladvand, who stated that the exams will be spread from July 21 to August 15, which adds to the students' difficulty in planning their schedules.
As of now, the official message from the Ministry of Education remains vague. While some channels report that there is no fundamental change in the exam framework, there is growing tension among the public that is waiting for a final decision in order to properly prepare for the fateful final exams.
