The account tired_phantom, which often deals with internal Iranian politics, claimed that "Pezeshkian has likely submitted a resignation request". However, in the same tweet, the author noted with skepticism that "in an hour he will distribute a text in which he says it was a mistake and that he did not resign at all."

On the other hand, channels identified with positions critical of the regime, including cicikhanoom and peace_dream1400, presented a more reserved position. According to cicikhanoom, the reports are based on a publication by the "Iran International" network. However, the author clarified that in his estimation, "he does not have the courage to resign, and also the Islamic Republic will not allow anyone to resign under these circumstances."
