The Russian Foreign Ministry delivered a threatening message this morning to Western countries, against the backdrop of reports that Ukraine has been given the green light to use weapons supplied to it for attacks inside Russian territory. According to Khabar-e-Farsi|Akharin Khabar, the Foreign Ministry spokesperson in Moscow clarified that if Western weapons hit Western countries themselves, it should not surprise anyone.
In the joint report also published by Akharin Khabar, it was claimed that Western countries gave the President of Ukraine a "green light" to use donated weaponry for any purpose he deems appropriate. In Moscow, they claim that the West is acting with hypocrisy, as while they encourage these attacks, they express shock when they are expected to suffer damage in return.
The Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson emphasized that "having given the authorization to use their weapons for any purpose, Western countries have no reason to complain about the results," and noted that there is no room for surprise on the part of those countries if the fighting spills over into their territory.
