The Central Bank of Iran publishes marriage and childbirth loan quotas for 2026

According to reports from several Iranian media outlets, including Iran War Breaking News, Akharin Khabar, and the state news agency IRNA, the Central Bank of Iran has issued an official directive to the country's banking network regarding the allocation of interest-free loans (Qard al-Hasan) for the current year.

The total budget set stands at 435 "Hemmat" (a currency unit representing one thousand billion tomans). Out of this amount, approximately 350 "Hemmat" will be allocated for marriage loans, while approximately 85 "Hemmat" will be allocated for childbirth loans.

The directive includes the distribution of quotas for each bank individually, with the goal of regulating the provision of financial assistance to citizens. Additional reports confirming the move have also come from regional channels such as Akharin Khabar Khuzestan and Islamabad Khabar, which emphasize the importance attributed to this policy at the national level.
