Escalation in Southern Lebanon: IDF attacked dozens of Hezbollah targets
Over the past 24 hours, widespread IDF attacks against terrorist infrastructure in southern Lebanon were reported. According to the IDF Persian Spokesperson, military forces struck over 40 targets, including "weapon depots and military structures" used by Hezbollah to advance operations against Israel. The military noted that these strikes eliminated terrorists who posed a direct threat to IDF forces and destroyed launchers that were prepared for fire toward Israeli territory.
The increased military activity comes against the backdrop of shooting incidents by the terrorist organization. According to a report by Al Arabiya Farsi, which is known for its critical stance towards Iran and its proxies, Hezbollah launched several missiles toward Israeli forces in southern Lebanon. As part of the preparations for the operation, the network announced that the IDF issued evacuation warnings for the residents of six towns in southern Lebanon.
The reports of the attacks were also verified by the Khabar-e-Fori channel, which reported that Israel hit more than 40 of the organization's positions in the area. The current clashes indicate a significant escalation in tensions on the northern border, with both sides increasing the pace of fire and military activity in the field.
