IDF forces from the 401st Brigade are operating in southern Lebanon against terrorist infrastructure and have eliminated an operative who served as a scout against the forces.

According to a report by the Israel Defense Forces, the 401st Brigade combat team forces, operating under the command of the 146th Division, are continuing their operational activity in the southern defensive line. The goal of the activity is "to destroy the terrorist infrastructure of the Hezbollah terrorist organization, in order to remove threats against the citizens of the State of Israel."
As part of the activity, the IDF Spokesperson released footage from inside a brigade tank, in which the elimination of a terrorist can be seen, who was identified while using "surveillance equipment against our forces." According to the report, the force responded quickly and neutralized the threat using precise tank fire.
The operational report was also confirmed by the Payam Iran channel, which echoed the news of the elimination of the terrorist who acted as a monitoring asset against IDF forces.
