The Iranian Ministry of Education updates the examination framework for the 2026 school year

The Iranian Ministry of Education has published new guidelines regulating the manner in which examinations are held in the education system. For students in grades 1 through 6, examinations will be held in a "descriptive" format rather than a frontal one.

Regarding the older age groups, grades 11 and 12, the situation is more complex. According to the report by יِ دانش آموز, national final examinations will be held if it becomes possible to do so within a 15-day window from the stabilization of conditions. In the event this window does not materialize, internal examinations will be held to allow students to complete their studies.
