According to the reports, as per the cited sources, an anchor on the American channel claimed that Iran is using "explosive dolphins" as part of a military strategy in the Strait of Hormuz.

The reports cited from the American broadcast claim that "the Iranians want to arm the Strait of Hormuz by attaching mines to dolphins" and refer to Iran as "desperate rebels." The allegations directed at Tehran include a report stating that an Iranian "naval blockade" has so far forced 45 vessels to change their course, and that the Pentagon is now forced to use artificial intelligence to locate those alleged sea mines.

The report sparked similar reactions in channels with varying orientations in Iran. The Revolutionary Guards channel defined the claims as "nonsense from a Fox News anchor." At the same time, the حامیان پزشکیان channel (which supports the reformist camp in Iran) published the claims under the headline "Strange claim by a Fox News anchor," joining the media protest against the nature of the American coverage.

As of now, no independent evidence has been presented for the veracity of the technological or military claims arising from the American broadcast, with Iranian media using this publication to portray Western policy as one based on propaganda.
