[94116] Sharp criticism in the Israeli press: Is Israel losing its place in the international community?
Sharp criticism in the Israeli press regarding the state's conduct
In a series of reports from June 22, 2026, media outlets identified with the Al-Mayadeen network (including Al-Mayadeen Iraq) and Beirut Time turned the spotlight on articles published in the Israeli newspaper 'Haaretz', which level sharp criticism at the policies of the government and the IDF.
According to Al-Mayadeen, the 'Haaretz' newspaper claims that "Israel," whose citizens carry out actions "resembling a massacre" day after day with the participation of the army, will no longer be able to be a partner in the "family of nations." The report highlights the critical tone toward the state institutions and Israeli society.
In an additional report published by Al-Mayadeen and Beirut Time, 'Haaretz' is quoted as saying that "it is no longer possible to continue with liquidations and violations, and to ignore sovereignty and international law without consequences." The texts emphasize the concern over Israel's isolation in the international arena as a result of its military actions.
It should be noted that these sources, which are identified with the Axis of Resistance, chose to highlight the most critical voices within Israeli society as part of their narrative against Israeli policy. The reports appeared simultaneously in news channels reporting on Lebanon and the regional situation, while using Arabic source language that condemns Israel's actions as blatant violations of international law.
