Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that a condition for ending the war in Lebanon has been reached, which includes an Israeli withdrawal, as part of a memorandum of understanding signed with the US that will go into effect on Friday.

According to reports by Al Jazeera and Al Mayadeen, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced that after three months of negotiations, a memorandum of understanding has been reached with the United States to end the fighting immediately and permanently on all fronts. Araghchi emphasized in his remarks that "ending the war in Lebanon is an inseparable part of ending the war with Iran," and noted that the agreement includes "the withdrawal of Israel from Lebanese territories."
According to the official Iranian news agency as reported by Al Mayadeen, the memorandum of understanding sets a specific mechanism in case of a violation by the "Zionist entity." Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht-Ravanchi emphasized that any further military attack by Israel in Lebanon would constitute a "violation of the memorandum of understanding." Al Mayadeen channel, known for its support of the "Axis of Resistance," reported that the implementation of the agreement will officially begin this coming Friday.
Simultaneously, Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem released a letter of appreciation to the Iranian Parliament Speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, in which he thanked Iran for its support of the "resistance" and for "forcing the ceasefire" on the occupation. In a report by Al Jazeera, Qassem cited the notion that "Iran gave Hezbollah and the people of Lebanon everything and took nothing from them."
Various sources identified with regional media, including Quds News Network and Sputnik Arabic, noted that the next stage of talks, which will begin in the next 60 days, will include discussions on nuclear issues and the lifting of economic sanctions on Tehran. It should be noted that the Iranian and pro-Iranian sources present the United States as the signatory to the agreement with "Iran and Hezbollah."
