According to the report, this step comes in response to what was defined as Israel's "continued crimes" in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip, with Lebanon serving, from Tehran's perspective, as a prerequisite for regional arrangements.

In reports echoed by channels affiliated with the Axis of Resistance, such as South Lebanon Enemy Observer, it was noted that the Iranian negotiating team clarified that talks will not be renewed "until the demands of Iran and the resistance are met." These sources emphasized that the current campaign constitutes a violation of the preconditions for a ceasefire, which led Tehran to harden its positions.

In addition to freezing diplomatic contacts, officials quoted in the Tasnim Agency threatened further operational steps. According to reports, the "Resistance Front" is considering a "total closure of the Strait of Hormuz" and the activation of additional fronts, with an emphasis on the Bab al-Mandab Strait, as a punitive measure against Israel and its supporters.

In the Lebanese arena, journalist Khalil Nasrallah addressed the complexity of the situation, noting that while Iran is halting contacts due to the escalation, the official side in Lebanon "insists on direct negotiations while its country is being shelled."
