[57182] Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem: We will not negotiate on arms, the campaign will continue
Hezbollah Secretary-General's Statements: Strategy and Refusal of Concessions
In an extensive series of statements reported by channels affiliated with the Axis of Resistance, including Al Jazeera and Al Mayadeen, Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem clarified that the organization does not intend to withdraw from the battlefield. According to his statements, as reported by Al Jazeera, Hezbollah "will not abandon the battlefield and will turn it into a hell for Israel."
Regarding the political negotiations, Qassem emphasized on Al Mayadeen that the issue of arms and the resistance is an "internal Lebanese matter" that does not constitute part of the negotiations with Israel. He added that "after the five points [in the negotiations] are achieved, Lebanon will regulate its internal situation within the framework of a national security strategy, while utilizing elements of power, including the resistance" (according to a report by Media personality Hussein Mortada).
Qassem addressed the agreement between Iran and the US, claiming that it is "the strongest card to end the aggression." At the same time, he praised the organization's operatives, noting that "your drones and missiles are shaking the lives of the tyrants of the earth" (from a report by Beirut Time).
Sources identified with a hardline stance against Israel and the West, such as the Lebanese News Agency and Anadolu Agency, emphasized Qassem's determination not to "surrender" or "capitulate" and that the fighting will continue "regardless of the duration and the cost of the sacrifice." Sheikh Qassem emphasized that all of the organization's fighting is intended to "stop the aggression and thwart its goals."
