[45628] Harm to civilians in Yemen and Syria: Documentation of exploitation and poverty under militia rule
Harassment of the civilian population in Middle Eastern conflict zones
In a series of reports on the X network highlighting the situation of civilians in areas controlled by militias and regimes, stories emerge regarding severe harm to the helpless in Yemen and Syria.
Confiscation of property by the Houthis in Yemen
Eyaaaad reports on an outrageous incident in western Yemen, where Houthi militia members forcibly nationalized a "cow" that belonged to an elderly woman named Fatima Saif al-Saraji. According to the report, the cow entered the compound where the militia members were entrenched, and in response, they confiscated it, prevented its return to its owner, and subsequently "slaughtered it and distributed its meat among their men." In the circulated documentation, the woman is seen crying over the loss of her only source of livelihood.
Economic collapse and mutual accusations in Syria
In the Syrian arena, a user named AbedA25313 sharply criticizes supporters of the Assad regime. According to the source, while many Syrian citizens are forced to "search for their children's food inside trash cans," supporters of the previous regime are busy mocking their situation and pointing accusations at "the new government." The source emphasizes that those same supporters, referred to by him as "murderers and criminals," are primarily responsible for having "destroyed the stone, the state, the tree, and the people" and for bringing the population to this state of despair.
It should be noted that alongside these political and social reports, marginal and unrelated content also appears on the network, as seen in a post by iNavsonic, who requested virtual donations during a live broadcast on TikTok.
