According to reports from Al Jazeera, the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar stated in an interview with the 'Financial Times' that the current regional goal is to build a "new security framework" between the countries of the region and Iran. Within this framework, the Minister emphasized that passage through the Strait of Hormuz is expected to return to normal levels within 30 days of reaching an agreement, and that Qatar opposes any Iranian attempt to impose transit fees, a move that he says contradicts international protocols.

At the same time, Al Jazeera reports that Pakistan is involved in technical talks between Washington and Tehran. The Pakistani Foreign Ministry spokesperson confirmed that the agreement includes a "direct line of communication" between the parties to prevent mishaps, with talks expected to resume next week. On the other hand, the NATO Secretary General stated in an interview with 'Fox News', as reported in Akhbar Al-Ghad, that European allies are deploying naval units near the Strait of Hormuz to assist in mine clearance.

Regarding the Lebanese front, it was reported that Qatar is working on a coordination mechanism between Beirut, Washington, and Tehran to prevent escalation, which includes verification of the ceasefire. In the same context, criticism was leveled by the Prime Minister of Qatar towards Israel, which he said "exaggerates its response to frictions instead of striving for calm".

Despite the efforts, there are reports in Beirut News of a "clear American disagreement" around the negotiating table, as well as a persistent Lebanese demand for clarifications regarding the translation of the American-Iranian understandings on the ground.
