Government initiative to examine the safety of right-hand drive vehicles in Russia
The Russian government has announced a comprehensive study to examine the safety risks of right-hand drive vehicles (which are common in the eastern part of the country). As reported by Readovka, the bodies responsible for the study are the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the state research body "NAMI" (НАМИ). RIA Novosti Agency notes that the findings are expected to be presented to the government by 2028 as part of the national strategy for improving road safety.

Incidents on Israel's roads
In Israel, the "Vesty Israel" channel and "The Israeli Focus" channel reported on a severe accident in Nesher where a bus hit a 60-year-old pedestrian, who was evacuated in critical condition to Rambam Hospital. In addition, journalist Mark Kotliarsky reported on a bus that caught fire last night near the Zarzir junction, an incident that ended with no casualties thanks to the action of the fire crews.
