The Iranian Ministry of Education announced today, June 23, 2026, the opening of the registration option for creating or correcting the academic background (Sabegh-e Tahsili). According to reports by the 'Ye DaneshAmoz' Telegram channel, registration will last for only six days, starting July 2, 2026.
Registration details and target audience
The process is intended for several groups of candidates:
- University candidates: Examinees who registered for entrance exams (Konkur) or the 'student-teacher' track are required to complete registration via the 'Sanjesh' portal (my.sanjesh.org).
- 12th-grade students and graduates: Required to use the government portal 'Medu' (my.medu.ir).
- 12th-grade students in a parallel track: According to sources at IRNA, students taking test groups that correspond to their diploma are not required to register, as their subjects were already chosen by the school.
Additional updates from the higher education system
Concurrently, the 'IRNA' news agency reported that starting June 27 (6th of Tir), the Islamic Azad University will begin the process of personal interviews for doctoral candidates, which will take place virtually. Candidates are requested to check their schedule details on the website www.azmoon.org.
Additionally, Birjand University announced the opening of registration for the 23rd National Skills Competition, which will begin on June 15 and continue until August 4, 2026. Experts warn candidates attempting to access government sites in the first hours of opening, and recommend waiting a bit to allow systems to overcome technical bugs, as noted on the Ye DaneshAmoz channel.
