Tragedies at Social Events
According to a report by Gündem Analiz, a henna ceremony in the city of Izmir turned into a murder scene after a 43-year-old man opened fire on the crowd with a shotgun. As a result of the shooting, a 14-year-old boy named Ayaz Çimen was killed and four other people were wounded. The suspect was arrested by the Gendarmerie forces.
At the same time, Haber Gündem reports on another incident in Denizli, where a wedding celebration ended in a "nightmare" when a 15-year-old boy opened fire into the air. The bullets ricocheted off the ground and struck 11 guests. Two of the wounded were transferred to city hospitals for further treatment.
