According to a report on the Abu Ali Express channel, which is identified with a critical line toward elements hostile to Israel, the Lebanese Army evacuated from the village an "Israeli armored personnel carrier that was booby-trapped (remotely operated) which did not explode" according to the channel's post.

Conversely, the 🎗️Israel News IL🎗️ channel, which presents a clearly pro-Israeli line, described the incident under the same circumstances, noting that "the Lebanese Army is towing an Israeli tank damaged in the village of Deebbine in Southern Lebanon" in accordance with the message published on the channel.
