The tension in the Middle East is escalating following US President Donald Trump's threats to impose a tariff on vessels in the Strait of Hormuz. According to NTD Hebrew news, which is identified with a critical line towards the Iranian regime, Trump clarified that the tariff will be imposed if a final peace agreement with Iran is not reached within 60 days. According to the president: "There will be no tariffs in the Strait of Hormuz during the 60-day ceasefire, and there will be no tariffs after the end of the 60-day period, unless they are imposed by the United States of America."

At the same time, the Telegram channel Attack Alarm, which presents a position identified with the Iranian narrative, reports a severe escalation on the ground. According to the report, in response to the strikes in southern Lebanon and the violation of agreements, the Revolutionary Guards have closed the Strait of Hormuz. The channel even issues a direct warning to the American delegation in Geneva, using a threatening tone: "Trump forgot that Iran also has missiles with a range of 3,000 kilometers."
