Throughout the day (June 21, 2026), a massive wave of Russian military air strikes was reported across all of Ukraine. According to the Telegram channel СОЛОВЬЁВ – a channel identified with a clear pro-Kremlin stance – a nationwide missile alert was declared due to the takeoff of MiG-31K aircraft armed with "Kinzhal" missiles.

According to reports from Украина.ру, a channel supporting the Russian narrative, a series of explosions was recorded at strategic locations. In the Khmelnitsky region and the Starokonstantinov area, a hit was reported on an airbase. The channel notes that this involved the use of advanced "Kinzhal" cruise missiles launched at these targets.

At the same time, reports indicate repeated strikes in the city of Sumy, as well as explosions in the Odessa region and in Izmail. The ВЕСТИ channel added that reports in the Ukrainian media confirm explosions in other regional cities, including Kirovograd, where a fire at a factory was reported as a result of the hit.

The reports come from sources consistently identified with the positions of the government in Russia, which emphasize the military efficiency of the Russian forces and the damage to Ukrainian infrastructure. Ukraine has yet to publish the full extent of the damage, but the numerous alerts and explosions indicate a significant and ongoing attack.
