During recent events, Russian military forces suffered a crushing defeat while attempting a combined motorcycle assault in the area of the Mala Tokmachka settlement. According to the report by БУТУСОВ ПЛЮС and ⚔️БРАТЧУК, the 118th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Army released footage showing the results of what is known as a Russian "meat assault."
According to reports from the Реальна Війна 18+ channel, known for its pro-Ukrainian stance and criticism of Russia, the Russian force attempted to change tactics by using a motorized deployment of motorcycles and ATVs. The attack began on June 16 at 18:00, under full visibility conditions, contrary to the standard procedure of raids in fog or darkness.
The result on the ground was severe for the Russian side. According to Реальна Війна 18+, the Ukrainian defense forces managed to "neutralize 26 Russian soldiers" and even caused injuries to over 10 additional fighters, who were left in the field without medical assistance or evacuation by their commanders. In addition, many vehicles were destroyed, including over 20 motorcycles and up to 10 ATVs.
The reports highlight the gap between Russian war propaganda, which has claimed control of the settlement for a year and a half, and the reality on the ground.
