Extensive wave of strikes in Southern Lebanon
Arab media sources affiliated with the Axis of Resistance report a sharp escalation in Israeli military activity in southern Lebanon. According to Al-Mayadeen channel, which is identified with pro-Hezbollah positions, the Israeli Air Force carried out "more than 130 strikes during the last 24 hours" in Nabatieh and the villages of the district. Reports point to extensive strikes in Nabatieh, Nabatieh al-Fawqa, Kfar Jouz, Kfar Rouman, and Barish.
Al-Jazeera channel confirmed the series of strikes in the Nabatieh area, while detailing hits on strategic sites. Meanwhile, Al-Mayadeen reports that in a strike carried out by an unmanned aerial vehicle against a motorcycle at the Kfar Rouman intersection, one person was killed (described as a "martyr").
Parallel to the aerial activity, heavy artillery shelling was reported targeting additional villages, including al-Dweir, Houbch, and the surroundings of the Beaufort Fortress (Qala'at ash-Shaqif). According to Al-Mayadeen channel, the scope of the strikes is unprecedented in recent days and includes a combination of fighter jets and drones continuously attacking the region's infrastructure.
Additional sources such as the Shehab Agency and Al-Quds channel join in describing the reports, using the terminology of "aggression" (اعتداءات) to describe the military operations. The accumulated information indicates that the strikes are focused on disrupting military capabilities in the south of the country through continuous bombardment of assets and major routes in the Nabatieh and Tyre districts.
