As part of the ongoing fight against organized crime, the National Police of Ukraine has completed the second phase of a large-scale operation known as "Rubicon." The operation focused on dismantling drug distribution networks and eliminating illegal production infrastructure.
According to a report by Times of Ukraine, during the operation, 400 people were arrested and approximately 90 kilograms of hard drugs were seized. The value of the confiscated goods is estimated at 70 million hryvnia. The channel, which is identified with a clearly pro-Ukrainian stance, highlights the operation as a significant achievement by law enforcement agencies.
Україна Online specifies that as part of the operation, four drug labs were eliminated and the activities of several online distribution channels were halted. The channel further notes that 146 suspects have already received official notices of suspicion for committing crimes. Similar data was also published by UA Stream, which noted that the operation included video documentation of police raids against the trafficking networks.
