French President Emmanuel Macron has revealed that US President Donald Trump has changed his position regarding the war in Ukraine. According to reports on Telegram channels such as Оперативний ЗСУ and ЦАПЛІЄНКО_UKRAINE FIGHTS, Trump initially believed that Ukraine was destined to lose the war, but after witnessing the Ukrainians' resilience, courage, and fighting spirit, he changed his mind and began to show them great appreciation.

According to 24 Канал, Macron emphasized that the turning point occurred during the G7 summit, where it was proven that Russian promises regarding the rapid collapse of Ukraine had not materialized. At the same time, reports from The Economist suggest that the possibility of discussions on freezing the state of hostilities is on the table, including the creation of a buffer zone of 50–70 km on both sides of the front line.
