[89808] Visit by senior police officials to the border line in Sistan amid a sandstorm
Command visit to the eastern border line
In the shadow of extreme weather conditions, senior officials of the Iranian security apparatus conducted a tour of the border line in the Sistan and Baluchestan province. Deputy Chief of the Iranian Police (Faraja), Sardar Qassem Rezaei, arrived in the area together with the Commander of the Border Guard, Sardar Ali-Akbar Javidan, to visit the forces stationed on the border of the city of Zabol.
According to reports by the official news agency IRNA and the 'Akharin Khabar' channel, the tour was conducted at a time when heavy sandstorms were hitting the north of the province. Both media outlets, identified with the Iranian state narrative, emphasized that the visit was intended to provide support to the fighters operating "inside the sandstorm" and in conditions of poor visibility.
The reports noted that despite the climatic difficulties and the significant decrease in visibility, the border guard forces are continuing their non-stop mission of "maintaining security" in this border area. According to an announcement by the Iranian police on Telegram, the commanders expressed deep appreciation for the "brave border fighters" for their steadfastness in the challenging conditions.
