Head-on collision: Noam Dan against Ronen Tzur
A political and media storm erupted today (June 17, 2026) between Noam Dan, one of the activists in the families of the hostages struggle, and strategic consultant Ronen Tzur, following his announcement of his candidacy for the 'Democrats' party.
According to reports on the Michael Shemesh channel, Dan launched a sharp attack against Tzur, calling him "a corrupt and rotten weakening man". In another post on Michael Shemesh's channel, Dan added that Tzur is a "plunderer and manipulator" and claimed directly that "the death of the hostages is linked to your choices," while threatening to expose personal correspondence with him.
In response to the remarks, Ronen Tzur replied with a sharp counterattack, which was also uploaded by Avishai Grinzaig - Updates. Tzur slammed Dan, calling her "ungrateful" and added: "The stain is yours". As part of his attempt to deflect the claims, Tzur chose to expose correspondence between him and Dan to prove his version of events.
The conflict reflects the ongoing tension surrounding the management of the public struggle for the hostages and the disagreements accompanying the transition of dominant figures from the civil-protest arena into the party-political system.
