Political turmoil in the CHP: Özgür Özel removed and the party in a storm

The Republican People's Party (CHP) in Turkey is facing an acute leadership crisis after an "absolute nullity" (Mutlak butlan) ruling led to the removal of Özgür Özel from the position of party chairman. According to gdh, Özel and his team are now facing a fateful dilemma: to stay and fight within the party against the renewed leadership of Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, or to resign and establish a new political framework initiated by Ekrem İmamoğlu.
