According to reports on Field News on Telegram (which displays a critical stance towards Iran and Hamas), the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister announced that the Parliament Speaker, Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf, is expected to attend a signing ceremony for an "interim agreement to end the war with the US." The ceremony is scheduled to take place this coming Friday in Switzerland.
The report was verified by additional sources, including Israel News IL, Asaf Rozencwaig, Global News, and Nitzan Shapira on Telegram, who noted that this is a significant move in the international arena.
At the same time, 301 News Arab World (which is identified with critical coverage of regional actors), cited President Trump's remarks regarding his attendance at the ceremony. According to Trump, his attendance is not certain: "Well, it depends. JD Vance is supposed to go there actually, originally he was supposed to do it. I'll probably be gone by then."
