Increased online gambling activity on social media

On June 15, 2026, an increase in advertising activity aimed at Telegram users in Turkey was identified, promoting online gambling platforms. The Telegram channel Türkçe Dublaj Filmler, which usually deals with entertainment and film content, posted ads promising users a chance to win a "Nakit Jackpot" (cash jackpot) in exchange for an investment of "500" currency units according to the Türkçe Dublaj Filmler announcement.

In another report published on the same day, the channel called on users to take advantage of what it defined as "Günün Şansı" (luck of the day), while promising a "2X Çark" (double spin) and an additional bonus of "100% TOKEN" according to Türkçe Dublaj Filmler. The messages include calls to action to register via external links and encourage immediate participation through promises of "cash prizes, free bets, and surprise winnings."

It is worth noting that this channel, which sometimes serves as a platform for distributing pirated or entertainment content, often changes its purpose to serve as a marketing channel for gambling sites, an activity that is controversial from ethical and legal perspectives in Turkey.

At the same time, the channel Fenerbahçe Spor Kulübü published content of a similar nature, which points to the use of platforms associated with sports brands to reach a wide audience of fans, while exploiting popular interests to promote unregulated gambling channels.
