During the night of June 15, 2026, several alert channels in Ukraine reported a wave of 'Shahed' unmanned aerial vehicle strikes towards the Kyiv region. The reports focused on a concentration of aerial effort towards the western suburbs of the capital.

At the same time, the channel Київський купол | Графіки noted that "another 3 in the area [are moving] on a course through Zahorivka and Irpin/Bucha" according to Київський купол.
