Military escalation in Southern Lebanon: Hezbollah reports attacks against IDF targets

Over the past day, it was reported on Al-Mayadeen Channel | Breaking (affiliated with the Axis of Resistance) regarding a series of attacks carried out by the organization against IDF forces at several locations in Southern Lebanon. According to reports by the organization, which calls itself the "Islamic Resistance," the attacks focused on concentrations of forces, artillery positions, and IDF weaponry.

In the Majdal Zoun sector, the organization reported that it carried out several operations using "Ababil"-type suicide drones, in which it was claimed that "occupation army soldier concentrations," a "tank ammunition depot," and a "Namer" vehicle were attacked (according to Al-Mayadeen). Additionally, attacks were reported against targets in the towns of Yohmor al-Shaqif, Adaisseh, Maroun el-Ras, Chamaa, Bint Jbeil, Al-Qantara, and Sarda farms.

Additional sources such as Al-Urdunia - The Real News of Jordan and Beirut Time - News of Lebanon and the World confirmed the use of "heavy missiles" and artillery shells against "new" artillery positions established by the IDF in the Adaisseh area. In all reports, it was claimed that "direct and confirmed hits" were achieved on targets marked by the organization.

The reported operations included intensive use of suicide drones against a military force that had fortified itself in a building in the town of Chamaa, as well as repeated shelling using "missile volleys" and artillery shells against concentrations of vehicles and soldiers in the area of Yohmor al-Shaqif and the Saf al-Hawa road in Bint Jbeil. So far, no official response has been issued by the IDF Spokesperson's Unit confirming the details of these attacks.
