Over the past day, there has been significant marketing activity by several Telegram channels focused on the Turkish capital market, including Borsa Hisse Haber, Borsa Haber 🔔, and Borsa Haber Hisse🥇. These channels are intensively promoting joining closed groups, with promises of identifying stocks with "ceiling and peak potential" (Tavan ve zirve potansiyelli).
According to Borsa Hisse Haber, the channels are offering investors access to a "special stock basket" with a high profit target by the end of June. In the same context, the channel offered in a separate post direct access to 50 users without conditions or fees, a move reflecting an aggressive subscriber recruitment strategy.
Simultaneously, Borsa Haber 🔔 is taking a marketing line that promises exceptional returns in the short term, with a target of 3x on investments in the month of June. The channel presents ambitious financial forecasts, such as turning 100,000 Turkish Lira into 300,000, and up to 1.5 million Lira for an investment of 500,000.
It is worth noting that all the sources reviewed are clearly commercial channels that rely on sponsored ads (tagged as #reklam). The nature of the content is characterized by the use of urgent marketing language intended to create a sense of missing out (FOMO) for the investor, without presenting proper disclosure regarding investment risks or the professional background of the recommenders.
