Following the IDF attack in the Dahiyeh district of Beirut, senior officials in Iran are issuing sharp threats against Israel and leveling harsh criticism at American involvement in the region. Middle East Spectator, a channel identified with the Axis of Resistance, reported that Mohammad Bagher Zolqadr, Secretary of the Expediency Discernment Council of Iran, stated that "the response of the soldiers of Islam is on its way," adding that "Lebanon is our lifeline, and we will not tolerate any violation of the red lines."

At the same time, the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, attacked the administration in Washington sharply. According to him, as published by Middle East Spectator, the attack in Dahiyeh proves that the US "lacks the will or the ability to keep its commitments." Ghalibaf added that "the good cop, bad cop game is already outdated," and that the US will not achieve concessions by giving a "green light" to Israel.

Similar things were said by the commander of the Quds Force of the Revolutionary Guards, Esmail Qaani, who praised Hezbollah and predicted a "great victory" over Israel.

Conversely, Israeli commentators such as Abu Ali Express tend to cover the statements of Iranian officials as part of psychological warfare, while noting the fact that the threats are voiced frequently after every offensive action by Israel in Lebanon.
