On May 31, the special operations unit of the Ukrainian military intelligence (GUR), 'Artan', marked the fourth anniversary of its formation. To mark the occasion, a charity concert was held in Kyiv at the Dynamo stadium, organized by the youth organization ТІНЬ, aimed at raising funds for the purchase of drones for the unit's fighters. The event concluded with a march for memory at Mykhailivska Square, according to reports in ТІНЬ.

The top political and security leadership of Ukraine expressed deep appreciation for the fighters' actions. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy defined 'Artan' as one of the most powerful elite units, noting that their operations, including recently on the Zaporizhzhia front, "bring us closer to fulfilling our main national mission," as reported in Новини.LIVE. In turn, Kyrylo Budanov, head of military intelligence, called the fighters "a terror for the enemy" and noted that he personally took part in the planning and execution of joint operations with them at sea and on land.

The unit has been praised for its involvement in strategic vulnerabilities throughout the war, from the Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Donbas regions to deep operations in the Black Sea and the Crimean Peninsula. According to АрміяINFORM, the unit has carried out dozens of complex missions that were defined as "impossible".

Additional fellow units joined in the congratulations. KRAKEN, another unit of the military intelligence, congratulated their comrades on "4 years of fruitful work in eliminating the occupiers," while representatives of Troublemakers & Ultras Action noted that it was a point of pride for them to participate in the ceremony marking the unit's birthday.
