Update from the Iraqi Ministry of Education: Guidelines for the transfer of teaching staff

The Iraqi Ministry of Education has officially published the regulations and procedures for the transfer of teaching and educational staff between different provinces for the 2026–2027 school year. The reports were circulated simultaneously by several media outlets, including جريدة الصباح العراقية and وكالة الأنباء العراقية (واع), alongside an official announcement by the وزارة التربية العراقية.

According to the ministry's announcement, which also appears on the قناة طلاب العراق الرسمية, the application period began on June 1, 2026, and will continue until September 30, 2026. The ministry clarified that the implementation of transfers is conditional upon the approval of the general federal budget tables for the year 2026.
