A new reservists' organization arrives on the political scene

Reservists who have served continuously since October 7th, both in the Gaza Strip and on the Lebanese front, announce the establishment of a new organization: the "Reservists' Forum in the Likud." According to YINONEWS - Yinon Magal, which is identified with clear right-wing positions and support for the government, the initiative grew from the field out of a sense of disgust toward "political hitchhikers" who, according to the organizers, are trying to appropriate the voices of the reservists for themselves.

Yonatan, an active reservist, reached out to the channel and noted that the goal of the forum, led by Shlomo Lerner, is to "strengthen the reservists and demand victory" in the war. According to the report on YINONEWS, the forum aims to promote the integration of reserve soldiers into the country's leadership as well as to fight for their rights.

As part of the organizational activity, reserve soldiers who are not currently on the front lines were invited to attend an inaugural conference to be held this coming Sunday at the Jacobs Hotel in Modi'in. The organizers emphasize that this is a "real organization that grew from the field" and call on the reservist public to show up in large numbers to ensure their influence on the national agenda.
