The political system in Turkey is in turmoil due to a power struggle within the main opposition party, the CHP. Following reports by A Haber, a media outlet affiliated with government positions, regarding a "worsening crisis," an authority gap has emerged: while former chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu claims he is the one who sets the dates for parliamentary group meetings, Özgür Özel announced that a meeting will be held tomorrow at 13:30, a move that received official approval from the Grand National Assembly (Sputnik Türkiye). According to reports in Haber Gündem, Kılıçdaroğlu plans to challenge the legality of the meeting itself, arguing that Özel does not hold the required authority.

At the same time, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed the crisis during a speech following the cabinet meeting. As reported by gdh, Erdoğan emphasized that his government remains outside the conflict: "We were not, are not, and will not be part of the political and legal struggle that has spilled over from conference halls into courthouse corridors." He added a sharp warning against attempts to create instability, noting that "the roots of this land do not grant legitimacy to violence, terrorism in the streets, or breaking the law" (Source).

On the government front, a report in Sondakika Haber Gündem states that the cabinet meeting chaired by Erdoğan focused on a busy agenda, including discussions on "Turkey without Terrorism," examination of security reports regarding the disarmament of the PKK, as well as the management of economic and security risks, including the tension between the US and Iran and the war between Russia and Ukraine, which is affecting the Black Sea.
