Enforcement operation against sports streaming piracy in Turkey

In a coordinated operation by the Istanbul Public Prosecutor's Office, the Cyber Unit, and the Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MİT), Selçuk Yılmaz, manager of the popular pirate streaming site "Selcuksports", was arrested in the city of Denizli. According to a report by Haber Gündem, the operation focused on suspicions that the site not only broadcast Super Lig matches illegally but also directed users to unauthorized gambling sites.

TGRT HABER emphasized that this is a large-scale operation combining security and cyber forces with the aim of eradicating the phenomenon of pirate broadcasts. Journalist Çağlaş Evren Şenlik, in a post published on the channel 𝗙𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗵ç𝗲 𝗥𝘂𝗵𝘂 💛💙🇹🇷, confirmed the arrest and noted that it was carried out in close coordination with the Istanbul authorities.
