Hezbollah publishes documentation of attacks using 'Ababil' suicide drones
Over the past day, the Islamic Resistance Military Media channels (affiliated with Hezbollah) disseminated a series of videos documenting offensive operations reportedly carried out against Israeli targets. According to Military Media - News Coverage, the organization used "Ababil" suicide drones (loitering munitions) to execute the attacks.
In the first video, according to the Military Media report, an attack carried out on May 31, 2026, is shown against "a gathering of Israeli enemy army soldiers in the vicinity of the historic Beaufort Castle in southern Lebanon." The Lebanese sources emphasized the use of the "offensive Ababil" drone as part of their field activity.
Simultaneously, Shehab News Agency and Quds News Network reported on documentation of an additional attack, which according to the organization occurred on May 27, 2026, against "an Iron Dome position belonging to the Israeli enemy army at the Jal al-Allam site in northern occupied Palestine." Sputnik Arabic noted in its report that this is footage released by Hezbollah showing the drone striking the military target.
The publications come as part of an intense psychological warfare effort by the organization, with channels affiliated with the "Resistance" emphasizing the technological capabilities of the drones in repelling or attacking IDF posts along the border. The events are described from a pro-Hezbollah perspective as actions of the "Islamic Resistance" against the "occupation."
