Azerbaijan marks International Children's Day

Today, June 1, 2026, Azerbaijan marks International Children's Day. The state broadcaster AzTV, which is identified with the government's positions, reported on a series of events and greetings from the country's leaders on the occasion of this day.

President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, issued an official greeting message on social media, in which he told the children of the country: "I wish you all health and happiness". At the same time, Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva also marked the day in a special post on social media, as reported by AzTV.

Alongside the official greetings, community activities took place across the country. AzTV updated that a festive flash-mob was held to mark the special day. The fan channel Galatasaray Azərbaycan🦁🇦🇿 also joined in the greetings, wishing all children a "healthy, happy and love-filled future" while expressing the hope that smiles and joy will always accompany them.
