An absolute majority of Kyiv residents support the municipality's plan to upgrade the area in front of Bessarabska Market, the site where a statue of Lenin once stood. According to a report by the channel Реальний Київ | Украина, a poll by the company "Gradus" conducted among 2,000 residents found that 86% of respondents are interested in making the public space accessible, including the creation of above-ground pedestrian crossings, while 80% support the construction of a fountain funded by private donors.
