Over the past day, official sources and media channels have reported that IDF forces have taken control of the Beaufort fortress in southern Lebanon. Amit Segal, identified with a line supporting government and military actions, described the activity as part of deepening the hold on the territory. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed the move in a statement saying, "Our heroic fighters have captured the Beaufort and we will continue until we complete the mission." Defense Minister Israel Katz, as quoted by Israel News | Without Censorship, clarified that the forces would remain in the area as part of establishing a "security zone" in Lebanon.

At the same time, Amit Segal reported on targeted Air Force strikes against weapons depots and Hezbollah headquarters in the Tyre area and other locations in southern Lebanon. Documentation from the field, which includes drone footage of the Beaufort ridge and the nearby valleys, was widely distributed by sources such as Abu Ali Express and Torat Lachima.

Intense hostile activity was recorded in the northern sector. Sirens were activated in Nahariya and the Ma'alot area, and according to Israel News | Without Censorship, Hezbollah expanded the circle of fire toward the Krayot. Alongside the security events, a terrorist attack occurred in which two young women were wounded (a 17-year-old in serious condition and a 15-year-old in moderate condition). A soldier from the Nahshon Battalion of the Kfir Brigade neutralized the terrorist at the scene.
