With the conclusion of the nine-day Eid al-Adha holiday, Turkish news channels are reporting significant traffic congestion across the country as millions of revelers return to their homes.

According to reports from DoğruHaber, heavy traffic and congestion are being felt on major traffic arteries, including the Tekirdağ-Istanbul highway, where it is noted that this represents the peak of return traffic on the last day of the holiday. At the same time, the channel reports ongoing congestion in the Bolu and Düzce area, routes that serve as a central traffic artery for those making their way back.

Haber Gündem confirms that "the holiday has ended and the return continues", noting that the traffic congestion in Anatolia and on the D-100 highway in the Bolu and Düzce regions stems directly from the large volume of drivers who finished their holiday vacation.

In addition to traffic on the roads, congestion is also being recorded at public transportation hubs. According to Haber Gündem, "intense activity" is being felt at the '15 July Democracy' bus terminal in Istanbul, as bus companies have been forced to add special routes to "meet the growing demand of passengers" returning to the city.
