Throughout the day (May 31, 2026), a series of non-stop sirens were reported across northern Israel. According to Al Jazeera Channel, Israel's civil defense system activated alerts in many communities in the Galilee Panhandle, the Western Galilee, Acre, and even in Haifa Bay, due to the detection of rocket launches and infiltrations of unmanned aerial vehicles from Lebanon.

The Resistance Military Media reported that "5 rockets were launched from southern Lebanon towards Nahariya," while Al Mayadeen Network described the incident as a "heavy rocket barrage" that led to the activation of sirens in Acre and a number of settlements. These sources, affiliated with the Resistance Axis, emphasized the use of "explosive unmanned aerial vehicles" that penetrated the airspace in the north.

Quds News Network updated on repeated barrages towards Kiryat Shmona and the Upper Galilee, noting that this is a large-scale action following a period of relative calm in certain areas. Shehab Agency highlighted in its reports that the sirens in Acre were activated "for the first time since the ceasefire in Lebanon," which indicates a significant escalation in firing ranges.

Anadolu Agency noted that the Israeli army officially confirmed the activation of sirens following the identification of hostile targets, including unmanned aerial vehicles and rocket launches towards communities such as Zar'it, Shlomi, Hanita, and several points along the confrontation line. As of this hour, reports indicate extremely high security tension all along the northern border.
